CARLOS NIETO

Hi! I’m Carlos, comic book artist from Madrid, Spain! I graduated in “Fine Arts” from ‘Universidad Complutense de Madrid’ and my professional career in comics begins with the Star Trek series for IDW Publishing.

Since then, I have worked for several international publishers and illustration companies of different countries, working on more than 20 comic book issues and more than 25 covers.

Besides interiors and covers for comics, I also have worked for advertising illustrations: ‘Akkurat’ film production company (2019 – 2022), character designs: ‘Clip Studio’ software (2021) and and many more projects involved with drawing, illustration and sequential art process.

I identify my sequential art as solid, clean and clear storytelling with excellent illustration skills.

I’m apassionate of narrative and I like every kind of stories to work with if the script moves my stomach but If I have to mention some of them, my favs genres are thriller, superheroes, action, adventures, sci-fi and terror!

Currently I’m living a dream of working for Marvel Comics! I started working on ‘Murderworld Wolverine’ and ‘Scarlet Witch Annual’ and I hope it will be a extense continuos carreer with Marvel!
